FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — The American Concrete Institute (ACI) recognized a distinguished group of Chapters from around the world with Excellent and Outstanding ACI Chapters on Monday, March 30, 2026, during the Spring ACI Concrete Convention in Rosemont, Ill. This recognition highlights the ACI Chapters worldwide that are most involved and offer many activities for their members, including leadership in advancing concrete knowledge, professional development, and industry engagement.
The awards are granted based on points earned. Each year, all ACI Chapters are required to file an annual report in accordance with the ACI Strategic Plan. Points are then earned based on each Chapter’s activities as recorded in their annual report. The Excellent award is based on a higher level of points earned. The Outstanding award is still very good, but those Chapters earned a slightly lower score.
“ACI Chapters are the backbone of our global community, and we are very proud of the Chapters that have worked so hard to provide many offerings for their members,” said John Conn, director, ACI Chapter Activities. “It’s exciting to see that many of the Chapters have been awarded these designations repeatedly.”
