Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. Expands Eastern Shore Presence with Acquisition of Davis, Moore, Shearon & Associates, LLC

Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Davis, Moore, Shearon & Associates, LLC (DMS & Associates), a respected Centreville, Maryland-based civil engineering firm specializing in land development services.

Centreville, MD — The Centreville office, located at 207 East Water Street, Suite 100, Centreville, MD, will remain open and will now operate as Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., ensuring continuity of service for existing clients while expanding the firm’s regional resources and capabilities.

Founded with a strong reputation for delivering comprehensive site development solutions, DMS & Associates has provided expertise across the full spectrum of the development process, including site grading, road design, utilities, stormwater management, storm drainage, and sediment control planning. The firm is well known for its collaborative approach, working closely with owners, architects, surveyors, environmental consultants, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality construction documents and facilitate efficient project approvals.

As part of the acquisition, the following professionals and support staff that will join DBF’s Land Development Department:

• Kevin J. Shearon, P.E., LEED AP, joins as Senior Civil Engineer. A 1994 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mr. Shearon has been licensed as a Professional Engineer in Maryland since 1999 and in Delaware since 2009. He became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008 and brings decades of experience in civil engineering and sustainable site design.
• W. Jeffrey Moore joins as Senior Civil Designer. With more than 30 years of experience as a CAD drafter, Mr. Moore is recognized for establishing high standards in drafting clarity and presentation. He oversees information technologies and AutoCAD drafting standards, ensuring precision and consistency in construction documentation.
• Brandon Davis, P.E. joins as Senior Civil Engineer. A 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mr. Davis has been licensed in Maryland since 2014 and brings strong expertise in land development engineering.
• Lisa Davis joins as the Administrative Assistant for the office. She has worked with Kevin, Jeffrey, and Brandon for a number of years and is a valuable part of the team and will be instrumental with the continuity of client expectations during the transition.
