4Engineers is designed to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing among engineers. Information you choose to include in your public profile and content you post in public areas of the Platform may be visible to other users and, depending on the Platform’s configuration, visitors who are not signed into an account.

Public content may be viewed, copied, or shared by others. You should not post confidential, proprietary, personal, or other information that you do not want others to access.

4Engineers and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, understand how users interact with our services, measure performance, maintain security, and support marketing and advertising activities.

When an account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account as required by applicable law, except for information we are permitted or required to retain for purposes such as legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Information that has been aggregated or anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted through our ordinary backup processes.

You can manage push-notification permissions through your mobile device settings and, where available, your 4Engineers account settings.

Certain Platform features may request access to device functions such as your camera, photo library, or notifications.

We request device permissions when necessary to provide the applicable feature. You can manage or revoke permissions through your device settings.

Some Platform functionality may be limited if you choose not to grant a requested permission.

However, no internet transmission, mobile application, database, or information system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
