Honeywell providing process technology and specialized equipment for Acelen SAF project in Brazil

Honeywell will supply its modular Ecofining process technology, along with specialized pumps, compressors, and integrated control and safety systems, to Acelen Renewables’ greenfield project in Bahia, Brazil, enabling production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel. The partnership targets surging SAF demand, which is projected to approach 500,000 barrels per day over the next decade, and underscores refiners’ shift to scalable solutions.
