Lawrence Group Hires Katlyn Garcia as Controller

Lawrence Group is pleased to announce the return of Katlyn Garcia as the firm’s new Controller.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Garcia rejoins Lawrence Group after previously serving in the firm’s accounting department for nearly a decade. She originally joined Lawrence Group in 2014 as an Accounting Services Coordinator and was promoted to Accounting Services Manager in 2023 before departing later that year to pursue new leadership opportunities in accounting and finance.

Most recently, Garcia served as Controller for Rick’s Ace Hardware in Manchester, Missouri. Her professional background also includes roles as Accounting Manager at Gateway Studios & Production Services and B&B Concrete Contractors, both based in the St. Louis region.

In her role as Controller, Garcia will support Lawrence Group’s accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance efforts, and overall financial management strategy, helping drive the firm’s continued growth and long-term success.

Garcia holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
