Behind the Scenes with a Youtube Veteran

This article was originally posted on The Wood Whisperer.
Summary
The Wood Whisperer marks 19 years on YouTube with a relaxed, behind-the-scenes tour showing a typical day, a quick meditation routine, and the production setup that powers the channel. Marc walks through shop/studio lighting and acoustic treatment, key lights (Aputure 600x with lantern), cameras (Canon C70 and R6), audio (lav and shotgun mics via a Focusrite interface), stabilization (gimbal and tripod dolly), on-camera monitoring/recording (Atomos Ninja), and the editing PC (Doghouse Systems). The video includes links to the gear and closes with mentions of merch and Guild courses.

What part of his workflow or gear setup would most improve your own shop or content creation, and what behind-the-scenes detail do you want him to dive deeper into next?

If you can believe it, we’re going into our 19th year making videos here at The Wood Whisperer. Given the fact that it’s a holiday week, I thought it might be fun to show you guys a little behind the scenes including my daily routine and a look at the tech we use to make our videos come to life. I hope you enjoy!
