Case Engineering Hires Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineers

Case Engineering (St. Louis) has hired three engineers: Electrical Engineer Adam Barney, a recent Utah State University graduate with hands-on building electrical maintenance experience and leadership in USU’s Engineering Council; Mechanical Engineer Luke Markovich, a University of Missouri–Columbia grad with an aerospace minor, strengths in CAD/prototyping/maintenance, and OSHA 10 certification; and Structural Engineer Spencer Bearden, who brings 11 years’ experience from SSC Engineering and Mettemeyer, holds BS/MS degrees in civil (structural) from Mizzou, and is preparing for his P.E. St. Louis, MO — Case Engineering announces the hiring of Electrical Engineer Adam Barney, Mechanical Engineer Luke Markovich, and Structural Engineer Spencer Bearden.

Electrical Engineer Adam Barney

Barney recently graduated from Utah State University (USU) in Logan, Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. His prior experience includes Webmaster and Publicity Director for USU’s Engineering Council, which focused on planning and organizing activities to increase retention and engagement in the university’s College of Engineering. At the Missouri School for the Blind in St. Louis, he assisted in the maintenance and repair of building electrical systems and machinery, and installed wall outlets and light fixtures.

Mechanical Engineer Luke Markovich

Markovich recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia. In addition to mechanical design, he is also skilled in CAD modeling, prototyping and engineering analysis, equipment maintenance, and robotics systems. His experience includes maintenance crew member for the Lake Saint Louis Community Association where he performed mechanical system maintenance; troubleshooting of pumps, HVAC and facility equipment; and assisted with facility repairs and infrastructure upgrades. He has also completed OSHA’s 10-Hour Safety Certification.

Structural Engineer Spencer Bearden

Bearden is a structural engineer with 11 years of experience in analytical design, drafting and project management. Prior to Case Engineering, he was a Project Engineer at St. Louis-based SSC Engineering where he led design, drafting and overall coordination/management of structural design projects. His background also includes five years as an Engineer at Mettemeyer Engineering in Springfield, MO. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an Emphasis in Structural Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is currently preparing to obtain a P.E. license.
