On the refurb jobs I’ve seen, ballast reliability and heat management decide uptime more than lamp choice, especially in humid plants with unstable power. Does the Sentinel upgrade include high-temp electronic ballasts with surge filtering and SCADA-visible diagnostics (lamp current, strike counts, UVT), and are they pairing it with auto-wipers to keep dose consistent between cleans?

Electronic ballast upgrades help with lamp control, but in hot, humid plants we’ve seen early failures without conformal coating, solid ventilation, and surge protection, plus nasty THD back into the MCC if filtering is weak. Is PUB pairing this with better sleeve cleaning and UVT monitoring, and what’s the roadmap given mercury lamp phase-downs - stockpiles, alternative lamps, or a path to UV‑LED later?
