Electronic ballast upgrades help with lamp control, but in hot, humid plants we’ve seen early failures without conformal coating, solid ventilation, and surge protection, plus nasty THD back into the MCC if filtering is weak. Is PUB pairing this with better sleeve cleaning and UVT monitoring, and what’s the roadmap given mercury lamp phase-downs - stockpiles, alternative lamps, or a path to UV‑LED later?
