Going Ex d solves the purge-gas headache we fight in our solvent fill rooms, but how are routine calibrations and filter swaps handled when cracking the enclosure needs gas-freeing and a hot work permit? Do you provide external cal ports or a bypass, and is there a US Class I, Div 1/AEx d listing with a matching Ex-rated sample conditioning panel, plus an ambient/heat dissipation spec for washdown areas?

Ex d solves the purge-air headache, but we’ve found maintenance gets slower - de-energize and gas test to open, flamepath inspections, and strict cable gland specs can add real downtime. Do these 993X/9933 enclosures carry North American Class I, Div 1 (NEC 500/505) approvals with a published T-code, and is there an external cal/valve block option so techs can bump-cal without opening the housing?
