Off-grid and cycling will hammer stacks unless you buffer it; on our 5 MW demo we had to add a 2 MWh battery and larger H2 storage to smooth ramps after stack decay doubled in 9 months. At 25 MW you’re making roughly 12 t/day of H2, so you need 150 to 200 m3/day of polished water and a plan for the O2; is Verde doing true islanded controls with no cloud ties, and what stack life are they guaranteeing under variable renewables?
