Ware Malcomb Announces Promotion of Braden Blake to Principal in Phoenix Office

Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Braden Blake has been promoted to Principal, based in the firm’s Phoenix office. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the office and continue to strengthen the firm’s reputation as a trusted partner in the high-tech industry.

Blake initially joined Ware Malcomb in 2014 as an intern and, after a brief period away, returned to the firm in 2018 as a Project Manager. Since then, he has earned four promotions while expanding his leadership and impact within the Phoenix office.  

His strong client engagement helped establish Ware Malcomb’s Advanced Projects Group (APG), which has united 13 Ware Malcomb offices and 187 team members to support some of the world’s largest semiconductor, electric vehicle, and advanced manufacturing clients on multi-phase campus build-outs eclipsing $10+ billion in construction cost. 

Blake has experience with a wide variety of project types including corporate office, industrial, restaurant, retail, mixed-use and manufacturing. While attending Arizona State University, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in design and Master of Architecture degree. He is a licensed Architect in three states, a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and served on the Board of Directors for AIA Arizona in 2024 and 2025.
