Ware Malcomb Names Marian Morioka Director, Interior Architecture & Design in San Francisco Office 

SAN FRANCISCO – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Marian Morioka has joined the firm as Director, Interior Architecture & Design, based in the company’s San Francisco office.

In her new role, Morioka will be responsible for the leadership, growth, and management of the interior architecture and design studio, prioritizing client satisfaction, project performance, and team mentorship.

Morioka is a long-time San Francisco Bay Area resident who brings more than 30 years of design experience across large-scale corporate workplace, hospitality, and commercial interiors. She has led award-winning, large-scale initiatives for a wide range of clients, including notable work in the winery sector.

Morioka’s career includes leadership roles with well-known architecture firms, as well as managing her own design consultancy for more than a decade. She has successfully delivered complex, multi-phase interior projects while maintaining disciplined control over budget, schedule, and quality. In addition to her technical strengths, Morioka is recognized for her collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and ability to translate stakeholder needs into thoughtful, high-impact design solutions.

Morioka earned a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture from San Jose State University.
