We tried H2 co-firing on legacy furnaces; flame speed and NOx were the pain points, not BTU. What does “low‑carbon” mean here, ATR or SMR with what capture rate and methane slip, and is compression power in the LCA? For a 24/7 cracker, how are they handling H2 supply reliability and buffering, and is there a defined backup fuel?

A zero-carbon steam cracker hinges less on the offtake MOU and more on whether the H2 shows up at spec and pressure 24/7. What’s the plan for burner retrofits/NOx control and for curtailment - on-site buffer, dual-fuel interlocks, or automatic rate cuts to keep tubes from overheating and coking?

We’ve seen NOx spike even at 30-50% H2 blends in our boilers without staged combustion and FGR. Are Project ONE's furnaces designed for 100% hydrogen with low-NOx burners and a natural gas fallback for pipeline interruptions? Also, does the low-carbon label factor in methane slip and verified CCS capture rates over time?
