Long-term contract is fine, but the headaches are in uptime: who owns stack replacement risk and compressor MTBF over 10 years? If they’re riding variable renewables, interlock against rapid start/stop and make sure DI water polish and O2 venting are robust, or the HMI will light up like a Christmas tree.

The crux is capacity factor: how do they keep electrolyzers near baseload on variable renewables without blowing out LCOH, and is the 10-year offtake fixed or indexed to day-ahead power?
