TYLin has appointed Allison Wicks as associate principal of strategy and growth for its Buildings sector, based in San Francisco. She will drive market positioning, strengthen client relationships, and elevate the brand across domestic and global markets. A licensed architect with 20+ years in planning, design, marketing, strategy, and business development—including 15 years leading growth at major multidisciplinary A/E/P firms—Wicks holds a B.Arch from UT Austin and serves on its School of Architecture Dean’s Advisory Council. TYLin’s Nat Oppenheimer praised her relationship-building, integrity, and proven results.
In the new role, she will be responsible for advancing market position, fostering stronger client relationships, and elevating brand presence in domestic and global markets.
Wicks joins TYLin following 15 years of leading marketing and business development activities at large, multidisciplinary design firms specializing in architecture, engineering, and planning with a focus on innovative and sustainable projects.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Allison over the years, and I’m genuinely excited to welcome her to the team. I’ve seen firsthand how she builds strong relationships and leads with integrity while delivering impressive results,” said Nat Oppenheimer, TYLin’s business sector leader. “Her deep knowledge of our industry, combined with her ability to grow businesses and bring people together, will be an incredible asset as we continue to strengthen our position in the market.”
Wicks is a licensed architect with more than 20 years of experience in planning, programming, conceptual design, marketing, strategy, and business development. She earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the University of Texas School of Architecture.
