Near-term wins probably sit at the lime kiln: higher CO2, fewer aerosols than recovery boilers, and you could divert captured CO2 into on-site PCC to cut logistics and purity costs. How will you control SOx/NOx/TRS to protect the solvent, and where does the reboiler duty come from in mills already tight on power, electrified heat or steam from the existing balance?

Electrified capture is useful, but the bottlenecks are low-carbon MW for regeneration and clean, steady flue gas; Quebec can swing it, many mills cannot. What front-end cleanup and interlocks are planned on the recovery boiler and lime-kiln streams to keep TRS, SOx, and aerosols from wrecking the amine, just interlock it?
