Big step, but the real headaches are pretreatment and hydrogen: how are you handling feedstock variability (UCO vs tallow), metals/FFA guard beds, and securing low‑CI H2 so the CI math holds? HEFA’s low aromatics means seal‑swell risk - are you staying within blend caps or adding aromatics make‑up per ASTM D7566, and what’s the cold‑soak filtration plan for winter ops? Also, interlock any off‑spec freeze point or water straight to recycle, not storage.

Is DSL-01 built around HEFA from UCO or tallow, and how are you provisioning low-CI hydrogen: electrolysis or importing H2? In our hydrotreaters, phosphorus and alkali from waste oils wreck catalysts without serious guard beds and pretreat, so I’m curious what contaminant spec you are designing to. Also, what happens to the propane and naphtha co-products, burned for process heat or sold, and how is that credited in the LCA?
